Next Destination, your Austin Moving company has a dedicated team of expert movers that prides themselves being careful, detail oriented, punctual, and most of all empathetic to the individual client’s needs. No matter where you are moving from or to, since Next Destination Moving is nationwide, we have local movers near you for all your moving needs!

No matter if you are moving next-door or across the country, Next Destination Moving is with you for the long haul. When you hire us to handle your move from start to finish or just to haul your belongings safely from one place to another, we will treat you with dignity, respect, and appreciation.

While moving can be exciting it can also be stressful, if you don't have the right movers. Choosing a company that's right for you is one of the most important steps in moving! A very common mistake consumers make is going with the company that has the "lowest price", often quality goes hand in hand with the price! While a company's quote may seem low now, it probably won't after the movers tack on additional costs later on in the move. While we may not be the cheapest movers in the industry, we are competitively priced while maintaining top quality in our moving services. Remember rouge movers will often lure customers with incentives, free services, and very low cost. Please be aware and make smart decisions! Another misleading tactic moving companies do is give quotes over the phone after getting your inventory of things you need moved and not giving you the choice between hourly moving and flat rate moving pricing. Next destination moving will help you to go over your inventory with an over the phone free consultation and give you the option of hourly pricing or flat rate moving pricing.

Preparing For Your Next Move

When moving in Austin Texas or anywhere for that matter, there are several things you can do to ensure a smooth transition. First, you should create a packing checklist, this will be your inventory. Next, you should create a moving plan. This includes a timeline and a budget. You should also make sure you line up help early. If you are moving with kids, you should hire a babysitter.

Once you have your inventory you can the book your consultation with Next Destination Moving over the phone and start getting the job scheduled and priced. Consultation is free and we can schedule this at your convenience.

Another item to consider is a first night kit. This should include clothing, toiletries, and dishes. Having all these items handy when you arrive will save you time and frustration. This way you can be prepared for yourself to do some simple stuff for yourself while the big move is taking place

Some apartments require renters insurance. Before you move into your new home, check with your landlord to find out if you need to purchase this type of protection. Other than the obvious, you should also read your lease carefully.

As you prepare for your move, you may want to do some decluttering. Identifying and disposing of items you no longer need will help reduce the amount of packing you need to do. Decluttering can include getting rid of old furniture, appliances, clothing etc... and finding out what you can sell or donate. Anything you can’t get rid of, you can request for us to do a junk removal and disposal by us before or after we move you good.

Packing your home can be a daunting task, but it doesn't have to be. Next Destination Moving offers white glove service and can handle everything from the bringing the supplies to packing and unpacking for you. If we are nort bringing the moving supplies or packing for you, take your time, use quality materials, and pack little by little. In fact, you should plan your move in weekly increments, rather than in one large go so you don’t rush and stress.

A check list is a very smart way to plan your move, the best part about a moving checklist is that it can help you pack efficiently. Using multicolored masking tape and packing labels will help you organize your move and save you time. Moreover, it will be easier for you to identify what you have packed in each room.

There are also numerous online resources that offer tips on how to move. For example, here are some suggestions:

If we are not providing white glove service or brining you your supplies, pick up moving supplies at your local retailer, or shop online. Depending on your moving needs, you may need to buy moving boxes, TV boxes, wardrobe boxes, bauble wrap, popcorn, and other packing materials. Invest in high-quality boxes, which can add durability to your possessions.

A moving checklist is the perfect way to ensure a safe and hassle-free move. Regardless of where you are going, this guide can help you pack for your move, protect your belongings, and make the process easy and enjoyable. We look forward to getting you to your NEXT DESTINATION!
